Simone Brusca

Editor | Comics writer

He was born in Palermo and has been living in Cork (Ireland) since 2019.

A graduate in Classics, he became interested in writing comics when, in 2005, he entered a short story competition for Kappa Magazine, which was favourably reviewed in the same magazine.

In 2011, he published Psychometrica - Memories of a Distant Future, a comic book about human exploitation. The graphic novel fell into the hands of Enrico Ruocco, who put him in touch with Alex L. Mainardi, with whom the idea of collaborating on a comic was born, and in 2013 Alessia in Cosplayland – The Mirror of Reality was published, an autobiography written by four hands and self-published by the same co-author Alex L. Mainardi.

In September 2015 he joined the editorial staff of Spazio Bianco as a contributor, where he publishes numerous reviews and cultivates a great interest in the formal aspects of comics, collecting critical essays and a small but well-stocked library covering the period from Little Nemo to the present day.
